MY STORY
Gianna Izzo is a junior at Ithaca College’s Roy H. Park School of Communications, with a Television & Digital Media Production major, and a History minor. During her first semester, she joined Ithaca College’s award-winning student-run television network, ICTV, as a production assistant. She is currently involved with The Ithacan, Ithaca College’s student-run newspaper, as a staff writer and video staff member. She is also the President of the Ithaca College chapter of Her Campus media.
Gianna graduated from Madison High School in Madison, NJ in 2022. There, she was a member of the award-winning theatre and video production departments. She was the assistant director for three productions and a two-year staff member for Dodger Media Online, the school’s news publication.
Gianna is experienced in SonyZ150 cameras, Canon EOS Rebel T6 and T7i cameras, Ikegami Studio Cameras, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and audio recording equipment. She is also a skilled writer in both journalism and screenwriting.
Gianna’s passion for media started with her desire to tell stories. Ever since she was little, she was always writing, drawing, and creating new worlds. With encouragement from her parents and family, Gianna began classes in playwriting, videography, and acting, learning to enhance and expand her creative mind. Now in college, she desires to become a producer for series television and is currently looking for production assistance and development roles to realize her dreams.
